As I was brought up by my parents who had a very successful antiques business in Southampton, I had the taste for antiques. Leaving school at 16 I went immediately into the trade and went into the furniture part of the trade.
After spending years dealing with trade only in the early 1990's I opened our premises in Wilton near Salisbury to open up our large stock to not only our trade customers but also to the public.
The furniture we stock is in the main 19th century. Mahogany is the main timber used on the antiques we stock but we also stock oak, walnut, and rosewood period pieces. We have a very relaxed feel to our business where we like to leave our customers to browse but not ignored.
